You have probably heard about our dependence on fossil fuels, and the inability to do anything without them. That would be normal if the reserves of fossil fuels would be endless. However, that is not the case. We are running out of fossil fuels. That’s been happening slowly over the last century, but increased signficantly over the last decade. That’s why many researchers and politicians are leaning towards finding and putting into use new types of fuels which will be practically endless. Biofuels. Biofuels are produced from dead biological material. That means that biofuel is produced from plants.
What makes biofuel so special is the fact that it’s not releasing any carbon dioxide. That is of huge importance, because it doesn’t pollute the environment. There are many types of biofuels, such as alcohol fuel (ethanol), algae fuel, biodiesel and many more. Lately, people are starting to realize the importance of using biofuels, and they are choosing them over fossil fuels whenever they can. It won’t be long before we all switch to them.
