These are the best reusable shopping bags. Hold lots, easy to carry when they're full, and fold up into small little envelopes that are easy to throw into your briefcase or purse. Everybody who sees them wants to know what they are and where to get them.
handy and sturdy
What I like about these bags is the way they fit right in my purse so I always have some with me, even if I wasn't planning a trip to the store. Normally I carry 3, but I could fit all 6 in if necessary (ok, I carry a rather large purse).I got the bright blue ones, and 6 of them really do hold a cart full of groceries, minus large items such as bags of potatoes, multi pack of paper towels, etc., but those items don't really need to be bagged anyway.
Another bonus is that now when I leave the checkout, it's easy to see if I've left a bag behind. Some stores, like Walmart, have their plastic bags on a revolving apparatus, and the checker never tells me if I've overlooked a bag or 2. Now I can spot my bags immediately.
I figure I save at least 12-15 plastic bags a week. That adds up over a year.I'm planning to get a bigger Baggu for mall trips.

I absolutely love my Baggu shopping Tote -- and everyone that I gifted it to does also......it weighs almost nothing and takes up very little space in my purse--most importantly it saves the trees and eliminates plastics in our landfills!

You could carry bowling balls in these bags and they'd hold up. You can hang them from your shoulder, too. I detest plastic grocery bags, so these are great. I'm always so mad at myself when I forget to bring them with me. They're small enough to keep in your purse or put in your pocket, though, so there's really no excuse (aside from forgetfulness) for not having at least one with you at all times. P.S.: the different colors are sometimes priced differently, so check the prices on them all. I got the aqua-colored ones for half price!!
worth the money
I purchased these some time ago, have used them weekly, threw them in the washer and dryer, and they still look as good as new. These remarkable bags are so handy. They fit in my purse (I always have at least 2 of them with me and keep the rest in my car). The wide carrying straps fit very comfortably over your arm..much better than the plastic or shopping bags provided by stores. They are large enough to get tons of stuff in them. When I go shopping with my girlfriends, they always end up borrowing one for their purchases..so I guess I better order some for them as well. I love not having a boatload of the store plastic bags lying around. And being able to wash and dry them is wonderful! These are well worth the money!
Every time you use your Baggu bag instead of plastic or paper you are doing something good for the earth and that makes you guilt free. They are roomy, durable and easy on the hands. They do well what they are designed to do. A highly recommended eco-friendly shopping bag.

I have to say, I actually really like the conservative take of a shopping tote. We became such a ‘throw away’ nation during the 70’s-90’s. I guess its a part of the balancing act though. Things always sway extreme in one way, then extreme in another. I wonder if this will get out of hand.
Either way, I think its great that people are finally taking conservation seriously and applying it to their lives.
