Now I can always have a shopping tote on hand
I have been eying the BAGGU Reusable Shopping Totes for some time now. I had also looked at the Envirosax, ChicoBag and Waste-Less brands, but when the BAGGU's were available on a Lightning Deal recently I made the leap.
Pros:
* Lots of colors to choose from - I chose Fuchsia
* Size - They hold a lot and they fold up into a small pouch. I carry two in my purse, so that I always have a bag available to me now.
* Sturdiness - I've loaded these up at the grocery store with heavy and sometimes sharp edged products and so far no tearing or damage to the bags.
Cons:
* Price - This is the only thing I don't like about these bags. At just over per bag it seems a bit high, but if they last and keep me from bringing home so many plastic bags I guess it's worth it.
BAGGU rocks!
If you are looking for reusable bags, look NO FURTHER, these are by far superior to any cloth or mesh or any other kind of reusable bag I have used before.
First they are so comfortable and easy to use. They are strong, they expand, and the handles are great. Second they compress easily and further than any kind of canvas bag can. They each come in their own container which I don't always use, but I can stuff them in a glove compartment or wherever very easily.
Get the 6 pack. My wife and I each have 3 in each car, holds us for almost any but the biggest shopping trips. They are so compact we use them a lot more than previous bags. Highly recommended, great product.
Well made & long lasting lovely sacks to share
When the pack of 6 arrives, you know the right decision was made to purchase the BAGGU Reusable Shopping Tote 6 Pack. They take up such little space, are so fluid, colors are quite vibrant and these are WASHABLE! The trunk of my car was filled with reusable shopping bags of assorted sizes and shapes, but none can compare to the BAGGU bags in durability and ease of use. I carry one in my purse and I'm always prepared for groceries, goodies, produce from my garden, even litter if I have the urge to start clearing the sidewalk. Because it's made of lightweight nylon, it dries very quickly so if it's used on vacation or at the beach, it can be washed, hung up and it's ready to go the next morning. The construction is excellent! I thought I'd read somewhere that these are lined, but they are not. Nevertheless, the seams are finished well and the design allows for easy filling, carrying and refolding for storage in the little bag which houses each BAGGU sack. Unless I'm filling the BAGGU with really dirty or gross things (not my usual bounty), I put the little bag inside the tote and when I unload, the bag is always right there. I've been storing my coupons in the bag which make it very convenient when I'm at the store -- immediately let's me know what I wanted to remember to buy. These make great gifts, too!
Pretty, durable, convenient
I love, love, love my baggus! I haven't had the issues with the little "envelopes" because I found a little clear vinyl tote (used to hold cosmetics) that perfectly fits six of the bags neatly folded. Now I use the "envelopes" to help organize my desk - they hold paper clips, post-its, tape flags etc so for me it was like a two-for-one. The bags themselves are incredibly strong, and can be slung over a shoulder (unlike most reusable bags) which helps in carrying heavy loads to the car or down the block - and they hold a ton. My only problem is that I have to keep insisting to grocery store clerks - "You can put more in it than that!" They also wash up like a dream.
They're so wonderful that I bought the "Big Baggu" and keep it in my handbag at all times. It can hold more than two shopping bags worth of stuff at the mall - incredible. It's fun to see the sales clerks gape as I help them stuff item after item into it. And the color choices are awesome.

I absolute love them! The various colors they come in help you to identify what is in them right away.
At the store they hold a lot and since the bags are well made you can trust them.
Every time you use your Baggu bag instead of plastic or paper you are doing something good for the earth and that makes you guilt free. They are roomy, durable and easy on the hands. They do well what they are designed to do. A highly recommended eco-friendly shopping bag.

I have to say, I actually really like the conservative take of a shopping tote. We became such a ‘throw away’ nation during the 70′s-90′s. I guess its a part of the balancing act though. Things always sway extreme in one way, then extreme in another. I wonder if this will get out of hand.
Either way, I think its great that people are finally taking conservation seriously and applying it to their lives.
